Working principle:
    The structure of the free float steam trap is simple, and there is only a finely ground stainless steel hollow float inside. It is both a float and an opening and closing piece. There are no vulnerable parts and it has a long service life.When the device is just started, air and low-temperature condensate appear in the pipeline. The manual exhaust valve can quickly eliminate non-condensing gases. The trap begins to enter the working state. The low-temperature condensate flows into the trap. The liquid level of the condensate rises, the float rises, and the valve is opened.The device quickly raises the temperature, and before the temperature in the pipeline rises to the saturation temperature, the automatic exhaust valve has been closed; the device enters normal operating conditions, the condensate decreases, the liquid level drops, and the float adjusts the flow rate of the valve hole with the rise and fall of the liquid level; when the condensate stops entering, the float approaches the valve seat with the flow direction of the medium, closing the valve.The seat of the free float steam trap is always below the liquid level, forming a water seal, and there is no steam leakage.

 

 

 

 

Installation Instructions

 

Installation instructions:
1. The float trap must clean the pipeline and remove debris before installation.

2. The trap should be installed horizontally. The pipeline before the trap should go downhill a little in the direction of the trap to avoid the phenomenon of steam lock. The flow direction indicated on the valve body must be consistent with the flow direction of condensate in the pipeline.

3. When this valve is installed, it should be as close as possible to the heating equipment, and the diameter of the pipeline should not be less than the nominal diameter of this valve.

4. This valve should be installed at the end of the steam pipeline, the lowest point.

5. In the entire installation, each equipment is equipped with a trap to discharge condensate separately to avoid vapor resistance and affect the heating effect.

6. If the steam delivery is stopped for a long time, the stagnant water in the trap body should be discharged from the plug hole at the lower end of the valve body.

7. Doors should be installed before and after each trap, and gate valves should be used to facilitate the maintenance of the trap.
